Shandong Century Union New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shandong Shangran Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., was founded in May 2009. The factory was moved several times after the initial 400 sq. M and 3 reactors small workshop mode production scale. In July 2014, with an investment of 320 million RMB and an area of nearly 70, 000 sq. M, Shandong Century Union New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Was established. After two years of planning and construction, the first phase project of 15, 000 sq. M polyurethane synthesis workshop, 4, 000 sq. M granules production workshop, 3, 000 sq. M R&D laboratory and 1, 000 sq. M public facilities were completed and put into use in August 2016. Production equipments are all DCS automatic control, and the daily output can reach more than 200 tons, to meet the market demand for products.

The company mainly produces a series of plastic runway products, such as non-yellowing glue, non-yellowing colored EPDM granules, impact resistant paving materials, polyurea, silicon PU court, water-based polyurethane resin and so on, which are widely used in schools, parks, stadiums, fitness trails, permeable pavement, non-skid color pavement and other fields. The second phase project investment construction of water-based polyurethane resin as the main synthetic materials of surface engineering, are widely used in auto water-based paint, anti-corrosive water-based paint, decoration water-based paint, etc., also plastic runway is upgraded to water-based runway mainstream products. WPU runway solves the zero VOC, weather resistance, anti-aging, color customization and a series of market pain points, can make plastic runway with fresh cultural brand into the campus. To do the plastic runway, we make every efforts. We concentrate on products, to solve the problems existing in the industry, to do high-end customization, specializing in each component of the runway. We solve the high strength viscosity, tensile strength and yellowing issues; EPDM granules aging resistance and color distortion issues. We make certain that with our whole system to make the runway durable, getting long-lasting color, besides the traditional red and green colors, realizing the color diversity.

The company is the initiator of China Sports Ground Material Green Production Enterprise Alliance, the participating unit of fitness trail, the deputy secretary general of Shandong Sports Venues Professional Committee. We have passed the quality management system certification, environmental management system certification, occupational health and safety management system certification. Products are qualified by Chinese environment label product certification, Chinese environment friendly certification, IAAF certification, RoHS and CE product certifications. Awarded the project technology prize in Shandong Peninsula National Independent Innovation Demonstration Area. The technical research of green environmental protection water-based polyurethane with high weather resistance is listed in the "double ten" plan, awarded as Zibo key laboratory. Products have been listed in the government procurement list. Application of polyurethane in the aspect of plastic runway has a number of patents.
